Buckwheat Pillows - Priceless

A Buckwheat Pillow - Priceless

A Buckwheat Pillow - Priceless

Buckwheat pillows are priceless to a lot of people. But there are a lot of people who would scarcely glance twice at anything as useful and practical as a buckwheat pillow. That is if there were, right next to it on the store shelf, a totally useless and impractical item like a cabbage patch doll, or one of those little furry rodents people were fighting over there for a while before Christmas. After all that commotion over those, there, before Christmas, my wife just recently bought one at a yard sale for a quarter.

I find it amusing, but even more so, saddening, to see people with limited incomes going ga-ga over those virtually worthless trifles, while they will stand and scratch their rears and pick their noses while trying to justify “sacrificing” a few dollars to invest in something really practical, which would enrich and improve 30% of every day that they will be on this earth - a buckwheat pillow. That’s because we average about 30% of our lives sleeping.

There are several explanations for this behavior, some understandable, and some just idiotic. The most reasonable of the causes of this are that a lot of people simply don’t know what a buckwheat pillow is. That’s not their fault. Or, while they may have a vague notion of what they are, they don’t really comprehend how valuable and advantageous buckwheat pillows are to the well being of so much of their life.

I can’t help but feel at least partially responsible for this situation, or at least, let’s say, I feel I have a responsibility to do what I can to alleviate this state of affairs. I feel I need to do what I can, to enlighten everyone that I can, as to the benefits and advantages of buckwheat pillows over conventional foam and feather pillows.

But then, there are those who I can’t help. Those are the ones who understand the values involved, but they simply don’t have the discipline to resist that warm, fuzzy feeling they get when they  see the whimsical look on a doll’s face, or the cuteness of a furry little puppy, and they just can’t get their wallets opened up fast enough to spend their hard earned dollars, while they feign poverty when it comes to investing in something that would really benefit them.

These people have basically the same psychological makeup as the alcoholic who, upon finding or being given, some money, immediately goes out and purchases a cheap bottle of wine, even though they’re literally starving to death.

So, if you fall in the category of the unenlightened, please go to my website and learn all about the advantages of buckwheat pillows. But if you fall in the psychologically challenged, then I guess you’ll just have to experience the old cliche’ of “You made your own bed, now go sleep in it”. But I know that’s not where you fit in. I’ll be waiting for your order through Buckwheatglory.com.

BUCKWHEAT PILLOW REVIEW OF ANECDOTAL RELIEF

THIS IS ME      Buckwheat pillows have many benefits. Some of them are easily explained and verified scientifically, but then there are those that people experience and proclaim, but are not so easily verified. These are termed anecdotal. These are things that seem to work for some, but not others.

They’re the things that one person will swear by, while others laugh at. Sometimes these things eventually gain at least a certain degree of acceptance, like for example acupuncture.

Many years ago I heard about acupuncture, which was then mostly considered a sort of voodoo by many of us Westerners, while generally accepted as a legitimate medical treatment by many Orientals. My first wife suffered greatly with epileptic seizures, chewing her tongue terribly and having headaches that lasted for days. I was desperate.

We decided to try acupuncture. While it didn’t completely cure her, it made a tremendous difference. It completely eliminated the tongue chewing, and greatly diminished the other aspects to where the seizures could be controlled by medication, and she soon was able to get her drivers license and live a normal life. After that, we could be counted among those who championed acupuncture. My first wife has been deceased for some years now, but I would still certainly recommend trying acupuncture in circumstances such as my wife’s.

What does all this have to do with buckwheat pillows? Good question. But there are many benefits attributed to buckwheat pillows by some people which may not be proven by scientific means, and which may not seem to work for all individuals. For example, my present wife’s granddaughter stopped in one day with a headache (which she is prone to) that she had been enduring for three days.

She asked my wife if she would watch her children for a while so she could lie down, because she was feeling really badly. Of course my wife agreed, and she also brought to her her buckwheat bed pillow to rest on. Because of her headache, she hadn’t been able to sleep for three days, but she immediately fell asleep, and slept all day.

When she awoke, the first thing she said was “What kind of pillow is this. I’ve never slept so well in my life. I have to have one of these. My headache is completely gone.” My wife, being the selfless soul that she is, gave her her buckwheat pillow. Shannon, her granddaughter took it home and made the mistake of telling her husband about it. Even bigger mistake - she let him try it out. They both wanted to sleep on the same pillow - hard to do. We came to the rescue and gave him one for Christmas, and peace, to say nothing of sound sleep, has been restored to the house hold.

This is one example among many, of anecdotal claims attributed to buckwheat pillows. Science may not be able to prove them all, and they may not all work for everybody all the time, but for my money, they work often enough to be “worth their weight in gold”.

BUY ONLY THE BEST BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS

BUY ONLY THE BEST

BUY ONLY THE BEST

Let’s not beat around the bush. I’m here to do one thing, and that is to convince you that you need my pillows. Not just any pillows, but the best kind of pillows in the world - buckwheat pillows. And not just any buckwheat pillows, but the best buckwheat pillows - mine - Buckwheat Glory.com buckwheat pillows.

You’re going to spend about 30% of your life sleeping. You get the best sleep when you’re comfortable. No pillow provides as much sleeping comfort as my buckwheat pillows.

Why would you ever sleep on anything but the most comfortable and most healthful green pillows in existance, when in the long run, they are also the most economical?

How can my organic, hypoallergenic, handmade buckwheat pillows save you money? I’ll tell you how. Have you ever heard of dust mites? Have you ever seen a microscopic picture of one? Disgusting - and not healthy. Dust mites are universal and are a member of the arachnid (spider) family. They pervade virtually every home in the world, and infest in great numbers all pillows except those that are either plasticized or chemically treated to repel them, but both of those remedies produce harmful toxins. Properly vacuumed buckwheat pillows, such as mine, are the other exception.

The millions of dead dust mite bodies, along with their feces, which accumulate in the other pillows produce allergens which provide misery to allergy and asthma sufferers, and cause that stuffy feeling we’ve all probably felt at one time or another when we woke up in the morning. Over time, these dead dust mites and their feces contribute significantly to the weight of a conventional pillow.

Due to these accumulations of dust mite debris, health experts recommend replacing conventional foam and feather pillows periodically, some as often as every 6 months. In contrast, my buckwheat pillows will last 15 years or more, while the malleability factor of the buckwheat hulls, which is what produces their incomparable sleeping comfort, actually improves with use. So it’s easy to see how much money you will save over the years by investing in a quality buckwheat pillow.

Why not surprise the mother in your family with a mothers’ day gift of a pair of matched buckwheat pillows for her bed. Can you think of a more useful and unique mothers’ day gift?

BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS - WHERE’D THEY COME FROM?

A BUCKWHEAT PILLOW

A BUCKWHEAT PILLOW

Buckwheat Pillows originated in the Orient. They’ve been in use there for between two and three thousand years. It took a long time for them to be introduced into our western culture, but now those who’ve had the opportunity to sleep on one, usually don’t want to go back to sleeping on anything else. Many take their buckwheat pillow with them any time they travel, simply because they find them so much more comfortable to sleep on.

In addition to their basic comfort, quality buckwheat pillows have many additional advantages over their more traditional counterparts. One advantage is their ability to allow ventilation of air through the tri-shaped buckwheat hulls. Their tri-shape produces spaces between themselves, which allows air to circulate between them, diminishing the hot sweaty feeling you often get on the back of your head in warm, humid weather.

Another quality which many owners are probably not even aware of, is their resistance to dust mite infestations. Many people do not know that virtually all conventional pillows, regardless of what type filling they have (other than triple vacuumed buckwheat hulls) are infested with millions of dust mites, which live off dead skin and dander cells.

These mites (they belong to the arachnid, or spider family) do not bite or harm humans, but their millions of dead bodies and feces do give off toxins and allergens that can adversely affect those prone to asthma and allergies. Dust mites will pass through buckwheat hulls, but they don’t infest them as they do all other pillow fillings, unless they have been treated or plasticized, both of which are more detrimental to humans than are dust mites.

Another very important feature not shared by conventional pillows, is that you can adjust them to your own particular comfort level. Since the comfort of buckwheat pillows is derived from  malleability (the ability to form itself to the configuration of your head and support it from all sides), rather than from softness, a concealed nylon zipper is inserted in one end of the pillow, allowing you to fill the pillow to the volume which produces the very best comfort for you individually. No conventional pillow can boast of this feature.

This feature also adds to the pillow’s ability to adapt to your particular neck’s cervical curviture. which is what causes the buckwheat pillow to come so highly recommended by chiropractors. Many people report relief from a variety of afflictions ranging from neck pain to snoring to migraines to insomnia.

I wonder if those people sleeping on their buckwheat pillows two or three thousand years ago had any idea that so many humans would just now be discovering the advantages of the pillows they were already using.

BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS-ONE YEAR SATISFACTION GUARANTEE

MY GUARANTEE-1 YEAR

MY GUARANTEE-1 YEAR

BUCKWHEAT GLORY puts its money where it’s mouth is. I believe I offer the most generous money back satisfaction guarantee in the business. If you’re not satisfied, return your BUCKWHEAT GLORY buckwheat pillow, and I will return your purchase price, and you keep the FREE aromatherapy sachets as a token of my appreciation for trying my pillows. I am that sure that you will not want to give up your pillows.

Over the years I’ve had 2 orders returned under my guarantee. The one lady had just spent 8 days in intensive care, and was very weak. Buckwheat pillows are a little heavier than feather or foam pillows. Plus I ship them fully filled, which is not the way most people would actually use them. In her condition she found them to be too heavy for her, but I’m not sure she was up to a king size pillow of any style.

The other was a man, and he really didn’t explain why he wanted to return the pillow. But I later found out that he had had a brain tumor which he had surgically removed. Buckwheat pillows are not feathery soft as some feather pillows, and I suspect his head was still somewhat tender. The comfort provided by buckwheat pillows is derived from the malleability and support they provide rather than extreme softness. For most people, the comfort afforded by that malleability and support is superior to that allowed by the softness.

Anyway, you’ve nothing to lose. Give my buckwheat pillows an honest trial, and outside of some kind of unusual circumstance, I feel quite sure you’ll have no wish to return them. In fact, you’d probably put up a fight if someone insisted in taking them from you.

Buckwheat to Eat and Buckwheat to Sleep On

EAT IT OR SLEEP ON IT?

EAT IT OR SLEEP ON IT?

Buckwheat in a pillow (the hulls only) I’ve always touted. But today I’d like to enlighten you on another, perhaps more important, use of buckwheat The reason I say “perhaps” is because the full importance of eating buckwheat is just now being scientifically tested.

While researching buckwheat in regard to buckwheat pillows I happened to encounter some information regarding the nutritional aspects of buckwheat. It seems the University of Manitoba has found evidence that buckwheat may be very helpful in the prevention or control of diabetes. Since I have just recently been diagnosed as being prediabetic, I took particular notice of this.

It seems that they had found that in a particular geographical area, diabetes was simply absent. They also noted that as soon as people moved away from this area, and started to eat the foods common to the area into which they had just moved, they eventually developed diabetes rather consistant with the local population. So they surmised that there was something peculiar to the area they had left, which was responsible for the absence of diabetes.

They sent some researchers to the area, and the only difference they could find peculiar to the region was that every food in which other peoples used some form of grain, the people native to the area in question used buckwheat exclusively. Buckwheat, technically, is not a grain, but a fruit or a berry. However it can be ground into a flour, or crushed into groats, and used as a grain would be used.

They have found that buckwheat contains one of the highest concentrations of high quality, very digestible proteins among plants. Buckwheat’s protein absorption rate of 74% qualifies it as a very good meat substitute. It is high in zinc, copper, niacin, and has an 80% content of carbohydrates. Its starch can be substituted as a fat substitute in processed foods.

I’ve found all this information in the University of Manitoba web site. They are planning extensive testing on humans (they’ve already done limited testing on both humans and diabetic mice), so I’m anxiously waiting for this to be done. No, Im not abandoning buckwheat pillows on my web site. But I’m not ruling out adding buckwheat groats to it at some point. Stay tuned, but in the meantime, sleep well on your buckwheat pillow.

BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS - KNOW WHAT I”M TALKING ABOUT?

Pillow Filled With Buckwheat Hulls

Pillow Filled With Buckwheat Hulls

A buckwheat pillow is a sleeping pillow filled with buckwheat hulls. You may or may not have known that. I have a reason for starting out with that rather simple, clear statement, and a little story to go with it.

Many (too many) years ago when I was newly married, one of my high school chums called me and asked if he could come to my house to explain something to me that he thought important for me to know about. Having not seen him for a while, I said “Sure, why not”.

He soon arrived, along with an older man. Both were all dressed up, carrying briefcases. He introduced the man as his sales manager, and explained that since he (my friend) was new to this thing that he thought was important for me to learn about, he had brought his manager along to make sure I got the best possible understanding of this matter.

Well, I felt rather honored that my old friend would pick me to learn about this important subject, so I gave his manager my full attention. This manager started right off with drawing some lines on some paper, explaining that I was here, and of course I wanted to get there, drawing as he talked, a line from the lower left of the paper to the upper right corner of the paper. He further added that I, of course, wanted to establish an estate. But it would take a long time, because I didn’t have a lot of money. Right then, I knew he had one thing right - I didn’t have a lot of money.

However, this “estate” thing that he seemed so sure I wanted, I had never before even considered wanting. “Estate”, to my mind, was a large parcel of land with a castle, or at least a mansion, surrounded by a high stone wall, or at least a wrought iron fence with a locked gate. My degree of interest immediately dropped a few notches, as I was more interested in a cozy little cabin in the woods with a brook flowing by, a far cry from what I envisioned an “estate” to be.

He next drew a line from the top left of the paper to the lower right, The two lines criss-crossed in the center of the paper, and he explained that with the plan they had, I would be able to immediately rise straight up from the bottom left of the paper to the top left of the paper, thereby eliminating all the time it would normally take to establish this estate. Whoopy-ding-ding. And all he would need would be $200.00 per month to achieve this miraculous feat.

By now my eyes were beginning to glaze over and I felt like a fever was setting in. He continued explaining how the top line would be descending down to the bottom right, but to make up for it, the lower line would be ascending to the upper right. All I could think of was that this man wanted me to give him $200.00 every month to see those lines keep criss-crossing. Wow! Whoopy-ding-ding-dong-dong-dooby-doo. All this to apparently get this “estate” that I could see no conceivable use for.

I guess my friend and his manager left that night wondering how I could possibly fail to see the importance of jumping all over that wonderful plan. Ironically, not many years later I became an agent for that same insurance company and investment company, and sold many of those very same plans which were a combination of decreasing term life insurance along with a good monthly investment savings vehicle, which is indeed a most wonderful way to establish an estate.

The problem was, they assumed an “estate” meant the same thing to me, as it did to them, which it did not. They never bothered to find out if I new what they meant by an “estate”, or to explain to me why it was important that I have one. If they had bothered to explain that I would be giving that $200.00 to myself each month, (with them taking out a little to pay themselves for their efforts, of course) I might have warmed up pretty quickly to the idea of me paying myself first, each month.

The moral of my story is that if I expect someone to hand over hard earned money to me, I’d better  darned well make sure that they understand what the benefits are for them, and then my product had darned well better deliver those benefits. Thats why I’ve increased my satisfaction money back no questions asked guarantee to one full year. If you read my blogs and my website, and still have questions about what buckwheat pillows provide in the way of comfort, healthy sleep, and the most economical (I didn’t say cheapest) pillow you can buy, then please contact me and ask questions. I’ll be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Remember, the only dumb question is the one you don’t ask. You have a great day.

BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS DELIVER HELP SLEEPING

IMPROVING YOUR SLEEP

IMPROVING YOUR SLEEP

Buckwheat pillows really shine when you’re having a bad night, sleep-wise. They definitely help you make it through the night. Make no mistake. If you have one, or several, circumstances which are causing discomfort, thereby minimizing your prospects of achieving a sound night’s sleep, I can not tell you that sleeping on a buckwheat pillow will magically eliminate those circumstances.

However, two different scenarios, or a combination of them, may be at play. One is that the circumstances causing your discomfort may indeed be diminished, or even eliminated, by sleeping on a buckwheat pillow. Such circumstances could include, but not be limited to, such things as neck muscle tensions, tension headaches, or the use of a conventional pillow which does not match your particular requirements for a comfortable, sleep inducing, pillow. Incidentally, your requirements can vary from one time to another. The malleability and adjustability of buckwheat pillows can facilitate that factor.

The other scenario is that the circumstances causing your discomfort, thus your inability to sleep, is indeed something which in and of itself, may not be eliminated or diminished by sleeping on a buckwheat pillow. However, that does not mean that a buckwheat pillow will not actually increase your prospects of achieving a much better night’s sleep than you would have had minus the buckwheat pillow.

Discomfort can be a cumulative type of problem. As your discomfort increases, your ability to achieve sound sleep decreases, and vice versa. So if you can increase your degree of comfort by sleeping on a buckwheat pillow, you automatically increase your prospects of achieving sound sleep.

So, to sum it all up, if you’re having difficulty sleeping due to circumstances causing discomfort, sleeping on a buckwheat pillow is very likely to help, if not entirely eliminate, the problem. No wonder so many people swear by buckwheat pillows.

TROUBLE SLEEPING? TRY A SIMPLE SOLUTION

THE NATURAL SLEEP REMEDY

THE NATURAL SLEEP REMEDY

Do you sleep on a buckwheat pillow? Probably not. Do you ever experience problems falling, or staying, asleep? Nearly everyone does from time to time.

Do you realize there is a natural remedy for these problems that is as old as the hills, but still one of the best. It’s been used in the Orient for 2-3000 years, but is nearly unknown in the US.

I was surfing the web to see what remedies were being touted for helping people fall, and stay, asleep. I was amazed to find that the only sites which were promoting buckwheat pillows as a help for sleeping problems, were some sites that were in the business of selling them. This is really unfortunate, because unless a person knows that buckwheat pillows are so advantageous in helping solve sleeping difficulties, they won’t have any reason to search these buckwheat pillow sites in the first place. This just perpetuates the secrecy that seems to persist regarding the amazing ability of buckwheat pillows to promote deep, blissful sleep.

Well, now that you’ve read this, you are one of the relatively few that has this knowledge. Don’t let it go to waste. Invest in a buckwheat pillow, and be sure to tell everyone you know about all the qualities it has as a pillow. Don’t forget to tell them about the adjustable comfort via the concealed nylon zipper, the air ventilation through the buckwheat hulls, the malleability which lets it mold itself to your exact head and neck configuration allowing even support to all areas, the freedom from dust mite infestations, and most importantly, the sheer comfort you experience from sleeping on your organic buckwheat pillow.

TRY A BUCKWHEAT PILLOW-GET OUT OF THAT RUT

Start Living A New Life

Start Living A New Life

A buckwheat pillow could just be your ticket to a new lease on life. I know so many people who have become just a “stick in the mud”. They’ve become so “stuck in a rut” that their life just has to be boring. Remember the old song “Life Gets Tedious, Doesn’t  it?” Life doesn’t have to, and shouldn’t, be that way.

However, inertia is a formidable adversary when it comes to breaking out of that suffocating routine. But if you’re ever going to get out of it, you’ve got to start somewhere.

I have a suggestion. Start by buying a buckwheat pillow. Now, I’m assuming you’ve probably never heard of a buckwheat pillow, or if you have, you probably don’t really know what they are. So investing in one would be the first step in breaking out of your old hum drum status quo way of life.

It’s a relatively easy, but different and unfamiliar step, which is what you need to do to start breaking out of your shell. It starts to break down that inertia I wrote about earlier. Once you’ve experienced all the good, comfortable sleep that results from that choice, it will be a positive incentive to make more innovative decisions which will pull you a little further out of your rut. It may encourage you to take some more drastic steps, like eating some grilled asparagus (it’s delicious), or taking a ride on a ferry (it’s fun).

The sky is the limit. You might take a course in growing bonsai trees, (an ancient japanese art of stunting the growth of trees to make tiny miniature ones), or learn to play a musical instrument. What the heck, enroll in college or run for political office. People just don’t realize the potential that can result from buying that first buckwheat pillow.
