BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS – CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR STUDENTS

Buckwheat pillows are an ideal Christmas gift for college students, because their hectic schedule leaves them little time for sleeping. Problem is, they really do need adequate sleep to be able to deal with their concentrated study schedules and exams.

Students are always advised not to depend on cramming in order to pass their tests, but panic sets in, and the cramming begins. I know whereof I speak, because I once crammed for 72 hours straight. Believe it or not, I did pass the test, but I paid the price in exhaustion. I actually had a very difficult time being able to fall asleep once the test was over.

I suppose there is a scientific explanation for that, but I certainly wish I had had a buckwheat pillow. I had never heard of one of those at that time. With the cost of a college education being what it is today, anything which improves the quality of it is certainly worthwhile.

Unlike so many of the items needed to expedite attainment of an education today, a buckwheat pillow is something that will retain its usefulness long after the education has been completed. For example, it will come in mighty handy when that first little bundle of joy is keeping everyone up all hours of the night. It’s one of those gifts that keep on giving.

And of course, any time a person has a chance to enjoy a peaceful nap, the blissful sleep provided by a buckwheat pillow is always most appreciated.

While you’re ordering one for that college student, don’t short change yourself. I’m sure you too could profit substantially from the extra comfort provided by a buckwheat pillow. Reward yourself for the fine job you did in succeeding in getting that young person to the next stage in their life. And what about the spouse? Weren’t they also instrumental in achieving that worthy goal?

What the heck. Why not make it buckwheat pillows for everybody? It would sure make me happy.

TO SLEEP OR NOT TO SLEEP

Mobile Scan

To sleep, or not to sleep, is not so much the question as is “how to sleep” or “how to fall asleep”. Competing with that is the question “how to stay asleep”. Technically, none of these are questions – they are conundrums.

No matter what they are, I have the answer, or more correctly, the solution. And it is so simple.

It’s not only simple, it’s economical, healthful, organic, hypoallergenic, green, refreshing, relaxing, comfortable, and made in USA.

Buckwheat Glory’s quality buckwheat hull pillows are the solution to the problem of both falling and staying asleep.

They are also a near miracle for many people who are afflicted with assorted maladies such as headaches, muscle and nerve damage, or injuries, in the cervical area of the neck and shoulder vicinity, arthritis, snoring, and other problems which inhibit sound sleep.

Buckwheat pillows also provide relief for those with limited time for sleeping, such as college students, harried business executives, overwrought mothers, and anyone stressed out with the complexities of life.

Chiropractors recommend buckwheat pillows to countless clients in their efforts to provide them with comfort sufficient to induce sound sleep.

But, by far, the most buckwheat pillows are invested in by knowledgeable ordinary people who simply enjoy the most comfortable sleeping experience each and every night. Are you one of them? Why not?

Join the 21st century. Forsake those obsolete conventional foam and feather dinosaurs. You won’t regret it.

SLEEP FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS

BLISSFUL SLEEP

For Students – Sound Sleep is Essential

The best REM sleep possible is essential for the success of student’s education. Long hours spent studying are also essential. These two requirements are diametrically opposed.

What is a parent (grandparent), or a student,  for that matter, to do? The simplest, most inexpensive, and one of the most effective things anyone, student, parent, or grandparent, can do, is to provide to them a quality buckwheat pillow.

Quality buckwheat pillows have proven to supply the basic comfort and even support, necessary to provide the maximum REM (rapid eye movement) sleep. This is the name given to the deepest, most refreshing level of sleep attainable. This is the level absolutely essential for students, (or anyone else) who must, of necessity, make the most of their limited available time in which to sleep.

Statistics show that an alarmingly high percentage of first year college students drop out of school by the end of their first year, many in their first semester. Often, this is due to their inability to juggle their heavy class and study schedule, with their limited time available for sleeping.

They end up oversleeping, which results in being either late, or absent, from classes, or finding themselves falling asleep, either during class, or study time. This has devastating effects on their grades. This, of course, can determine the success or failure of their educational endeavors, which impacts their whole life ahead of them.

Many, while managing to stay awake, are suffering from sleep deprivation, to the point where their studying is ineffective, producing poor class performance and test scores. The constant intense concentration required for a successful education, requires an alert, well rested mind.

A quality buckwheat hull pillow goes a long way toward extracting the most deep, sound, refreshing sleep from the limited sleeping time available to today’s scholar.

Thus it behoves the parent (grandparent), or the student themselves, to invest in a quality buckwheat pillow. It is such a small investment compared to the amount spent on the education itself, that it would be a shame to see all that wasted for the lack of essential quality sleep.

PARENTS AND STUDENTS – Awaken to Deep Sleep

Mobile Scan

Buckwheat Glory Buckwheat Hull Pillows are a vital link to to the success of our students returning to school this fall. Most parents realize by now just how important it is that students receive adequate sound sleep.

With education costing what it now does, parents need to be, now  more than ever, concerned that they get the maximum return on their investment in the education of their children.

Late night studying (not to mention late night partying) means that the time reserved for sleeping, must necessarily be maximized so as to acquire the most REM (rapid eye movement) sleep possible. This is where Buckwheat Glory’s buckwheat bed and travel pillows excel. Click on buckwheatglory.com to get the full story on how they accomplish this far better than any other type of pillow.

Comfort is paramount in providing the capability of  falling quickly into a deep, refreshing sleep, and just as importantly, of staying asleep once deep sleep is attained.

If the student needs to travel long distances between home and school, they may need to take advantage of this travel time to catch up on lost sleep. This means they will need a buckwheat travel pillow which excels in providing a comfortable surface to rest their head in places which may tend to be somewhat uncomfortable, like the corner between an auto or bus window and the back of a seat.

The malleability inherent in buckwheat pillows,  provides unequalled conformity to these oddly shaped niches. They won’t try to slip out of their position, as conventional pillows are so prone to doing.

So, if you are a parent, or grandparent, of a student going away to school for the first time, or one who is returning for another semester, I’m sure you want to provide them with every advantage possible to help them achieve their goal of being the best that they can be. Maybe you can’t be there to tuck them in and make sure they get to bed on time, but you can do the next best thing, and make sure they have the pillows they need to maximize the benefits they can receive from quick, deep, blissful sleep.

Maybe you, yourself, will be able to sleep a little more easily, just knowing that you have provided them with the best sleeping pillows possible. And speaking of that, are you providing yourself with the best sleeping pillows available? Maybe you need to visit http://www.buckwheatglory.com/page/1483527 for your own benefit as well.

BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS – A WIN – WIN SITUATION

I vacillate between expounding on the comfort aspects of buckwheat pillows versus the health viewpoints.

The health benefits, I feel, are the most important concerning the reasons why we all should be sleeping on buckwheat pillows. But the comfort advantages are actually the real  reasons that  most people invest in one.

Therefore, promoting the comfort aspect would logically be the most productive way to sell more pillows, thus putting more money in my pocket. But that goes against the grain of my desire to rise above that “do whatever you have to, to make money”, mentality. But if I fail to do what it takes to convince more people to do what they need to do, in order to better their life experiences, then, it seems, I’m shirking my responsibilities again.

Who would have thought that promoting buckwheat pillows could present such weighty ethical considerations? Is this a situation where I need to consider the end justifying the means? As I ponder my dilemma, I do realize, that no matter which reason a person relies on to make their decision, either way they receive both the health and the comfort advantages.

Therefore, after giving much thought to the problem, since it is obviously a win – win result, no matter which path I choose, and since one way would actually result in fewer people truely ending up as winners, I conclude that, in this case, the end actually does justify the means.

Does anyone disagree with my conclusion? If you do, please comment back with your rationale. Otherwise I will conclude that I am on the right track, and will probably promote comfort a little more aggressively than the health angle, but not to the exclusion of health benefits of sleeping on buckwheat pillows.

In any event, promoting buckwheat pillows is a pretty wonderful profession, considering that my clients all end up in a win – win situation, regardless of what path I lead them on – health or comfort.

With that satisfaction, and of course going to sleep on a buckwheat pillow, you’d better believe I experience “blissful sleep”, which is really what I’m promoting. To get your own blissful sleep, start by clicking on http://www.buckwheatglory.com/home.

I am so blessed.

BUCKWHEAT PILLOW’S HISTORY EXPANDED

SMART PHONE SPECIAL

Buckwheat pillow history, I’ve found out, goes back a lot farther than anyone had thought. Live and learn. I’m always on the lookout for information on buckwheat pillows. I’ve always thought that buckwheat pillows originated in the Orient. Apparently, not so.

More recent discoveries have found that buckwheat pillows were in widespread use in ancient Egypt many thousands of years before their use eventually spread into China. Trade, exploration, and war eventually brought about cultural exchanges between these civilizations.
The Chinese added a new twist to the utilitarian buckwheat pillow when they added ornate designs to produce  breathtakingly beautiful  pillows which were used as currency in trade with other cultures. I read somewhere that they were used in royal wedding ceremonies in Japan and other Oriental countries..
Their popularity later progressed throughout Europe, Australia, South America, and eventually into Canada, and finally into the United States, where their popularity has increased exponentially due to their numerous advantages over our conventional feather and foam pillows.

Their attributes such as the malleability of the buckwheat hull filling  resulting in the even support of the neck area so prized by the chiropractic community, and the blissful sleep so prized by all of us, have been rapidly propelling them into the “must have” category for those who learn of them. The natural airflow ventilation provided by the hulls is another contributor to the sheer comfort of sleeping on them.

Possibly the greatest advantage of the modern buckwheat pillow, though, is the relatively recent addition in the quality pillows, of a discreetly concealed zipper, which allows the user to adjust the hull volume to their exact comfort preference. This is a huge advantage over all the other pillows.

Buckwheat hulls used to be considered a waste byproduct. The increasing popularity of buckwheat pillows has now started causing a scarcity of pillow grade hulls, to the point that the hulls are becoming more expensive than the buckwheat berries themselves.
Yes, technically, they are botanically berries, although they are used like a grain. Their nearest relative, oddly enough, is rhubarb.

The berries have been found, as a food, to be very useful in treating type 2 diabetes. The University of Manitoba in Canada has been doing extensive research in this area, and the benefits of a diet rich in buckwheat has some amazing benefits in regard to suppression of type 2 diabetes.

Perhaps, with the epidemic of type 2 diabetes we are experiencing in this country, we could promote the use of buckwheat in our diets. This would produce two benefits. It would help alleviate the injurious effects of type 2 diabetes, and with increased demand for the food, would naturally come an increas in production of buckwheat hulls, which would in turn result in lower prices for them to be used in providing buckwheat pillow filling.

So, add buckwheat to your diet.

Sobakawa-Japanese for Buckwheat-Not Plastic Beads

Buckwheat pillows are getting deceptive competition. Out of curiosity, I bought one of those so-called Sobakawa plastic bead cloud pillows you find advertised on TV for $19.99.

I won’t go into the details of the hassle or the time it took me to get it. That’s a story for another time.

Considering that I was interested in debunking what I suspected was a poor excuse at competition with my organic handcrafted buckwheat pillows, I was not disappointed. They are a poor excuse.

First of all, who wants to be breathing fumes off of plastic beads all night? Plastics in any form are neither organic nor hypoallergenic, and they emit dangerous toxic vapors, especially troublesome when you’re sleeping on them and breathing their fumes directly into your lungs all night long, unlike organic buckwheat hulls.

Secondly, the degree of support they provide is minimal, if even detectable. The round plastic beads lack the tiny ridges which provide the malleability factor inherent in buckwheat hulls, resulting in a very wishy washy attempt at support. I would describe it as fluidity, rather than malleability.

Thirdly, the one I bought does not have a concealed nylon zipper to allow the user to adjust the volume of filling to their own personal comfort level. This particular feature gives buckwheat pillows a huge advantage over their competitors.

So, already, they are lacking 3 of the most important advantages that genuine buckwheat pillows have over conventional foam or feather pillows. I also found them to be as hot as any pillow I’ve ever slept on with the possible exception of the temperature sensitive foam pillows, which are akin to sleeping on top of a furnace heat vent. So now they’re lacking the 4th important advantage of a buckwheat pillow.

On top of all these glaring shortcomings, their promoters have the audacity to apply the name sobakawa to them. Sobakawa is the Japanese word for buckwheat. This is an attempt to transfer the worldwide recognition of the term sobakawa from genuine buckwheat pillows to these inferior knockoffs trying to masquerade as viable competitors.

This alone should give you a clue as to the character and ethics of these promoters out for the fast buck.

Again, the old cliche’ of “you get what you pay for” applies. While the cheap price is certainly tempting in these hard economic times, you will be no more satisfied with these cheap plastic bead pillows than you would be with a cheap imported version of a buckwheat pillow.

For genuine support, comfort, and durability along with a genuinely healthy, refreshing sleeping experience, invest in a quality, USA made, organic, hypoallergenic buckwheat hull pillow. You’ll be so glad you did.

But don’t take my word for it. For more reviews, I would suggest logging onto  http://we-rate-stuff.com/2010/06/sobakawa-cloud-pillow.html. Then go check out some genuine quality bargain buckwheat pillows.

Natural Sleep Aids That Multitask

1 Key To Sleep Relief

Natural sleep aids, to be really effective, need to address more than one issue. Two of the more common ones are pain relief and comfort.

It goes without saying, that it’s difficult to achieve satisfactory, refreshing sleep, when you’re dealing with either pain, particularly neck pain, or any degree of discomfort.

People’s first inclination today seems to be to reach for the pill bottle. We are becoming a nation dependent on chemicals.

Sooner or later, in one way or another, they eventually come back to bite you. This is as inevitable as depending on the government to be your nanny. History and evidence prove these points over and over. There is a lot of truth in that old axiom about those who ignore the lessons of history being doomed to repeat them.

May I submit to you, that one of the simpler, but more effective natural sleep remedies, is the venerable buckwheat hull pillow. Having been used for that purpose for thousands of years, it has obviously proven itself through a long history. Pay heed to the lessons of history.

While generally having been believed to be an invention from the Orient, more recent evidence indicates that they actually imported their appreciation for the therapeutic benefits of the buckwheat pillow from ancient Egyptians, going back many more thousands of years than what was previously believed.

So, as a part of your regimen to attack the age old problem of acquiring adequate and gratifying sleep, take a lesson from history, and invest in a quality, organic, buckwheat pillow. They provide advantages no conventional pillow can match when it comes to getting a good night’s sleep.

Natural Sleep Aids Can Sometimes Be A Surprise

Natural sleep aids that work, are far superior to the chemical kind, for a number of reasons. There are no side effects. This is important both short term and long term.

Sleeping pills, often in spite of what they sometimes advertise, often leave you feeling groggy or strung out the next morning. Worse, you  soon find yourself dependent on them, which amounts to a form of addiction.

Your body has enough to deal with in trying to stay healthy in today’s chemically dependent world. Just the chemicals saturating the water, the prepared foods, and virtually everything we eat, drink, breath, or touch, is enough to eventually simply overwhelm our bodies defenses.

It’s no wonder degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, strokes, and heart disease, just to mention a few, are becoming so prevalent. While we’re trying to sleep should be a time for our body to recuperate from the chemical attacks it’s tried to fend off all day.

The last thing we should do while we sleep is saturate it with more chemicals as it’s trying to recuperate. So what’s a body to do, if you just really need some help falling and staying asleep, you ask.

There are a number of remedies you can avail yourself of, and the use of a combination of these may well be the answer to your problem. Some of them may require a little willpower initially, like forgoing that before bed dish of chocolate ice cream, or whatever your particular culinary, before bed time, weakness happens to be.

For most people, a relatively cool bedroom helps (helps with the heat bill, too). If you like to go to bed with the TV or radio on, that’s generally advised to be a no no. If your sleeping quarters are subject to extraneous noise, you might invest in one of those “white noise” transmitters.

Try to wind down before retiring. Relax with a book, or soothing music, and maybe sip on some chamomile tea (it has a calming influence). Some say sex can put you in a relaxed mood. I couldn’t say. I’m 72. I don’t remember.

Comfort is paramount. Perhaps soft flannel sheets, or maybe you should try the new bamboo sheets. Sleeping in the buff can be a most relaxing sleeping style for some. I can think of a few situations where this may not be advisable.

There are quite a few websites that offer many more suggestions along these lines. However, having said all this, I have saved my best and most promising natural sleep aid until last.

Now, being an honest man, I must tell you that I have a vested interest in this most promising natural sleeping aid. I sell these. What are these? These are organic, handcrafted buckwheat hull pillows. I sell the highest quality buckwheat pillows I can find, because quality is the key when it comes to buckwheat pillows.

Their biggest advantages are twofold. First, they possess a characteristic called malleability. This means that they conform to the exact curvature of your head and neck, providing perfectly even support to that  cervical area. This is critical to sleeping comfort.

Nature provides this unique characteristic by providing minute ridges on the buckwheat hulls, which causes them to cling to each other just enough to provide this malleability factor. Interestingly, this characteristic actually improves with use as they polish slightly.

Secondly, they have a discreetly concealed nylon zipper, which allows you to adjust the volume of buckwheat hulls in your pillow to your exact comfort level. No conventional foam or feather pillow can compete. To get the full story (there’s lots more), just go to www.buckwheatglory.com.
