A BUCKWHEAT PILLOW - A Marvelous, Practical Reward

REWARD YOUR SELF

REWARD YOUR SELF

When times are good, it”s relatively easy to justify giving rewards, even sometimes for no particular reason. But in tougher times, we tend to be a little tighter with the purse strings, and understandably so.

Under these circumstances it would seem to me that it would be easier to ease your conscience about being beneficent to yourself or a friend if you knew you were rewarding yourself or your friend with something of really lasting and significant value.
What I have in mind is something that will be appreciated 365 days (or nights) a year , approximately 8 hours a day (or night), for 10 - 15 years. That is about 30% of your time over this 10 - 15 years.
Can you think of any more practical and economical, yet rewarding gift, than a buckwheat pillow, providing relaxing, rejuvenating, and refreshing sleep, night after night? I can’t. Of course I’m assuming you know about all the advantages of buckwheat pillows over conventional pillows. Reward someone (maybe yourself?) with a buckwheat pillow.

BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS - NO CONTEST

NATURE IS BEST

NATURE IS BEST

Buckwheat pillows really have no valid rivals. I was working today on a FAQ (frequently asked questions) page for my website. I was trying to answer the question “Why should anyone want to sleep on a buckwheat pillow rather than a conventional pillow?”.

Seems like a pretty simple, straight forward question. However, the answer is anything but simple. I started off by breaking it down into segments. I started each segment off with a bold-ed key word. I found I just didn’t realize how far over the top, in comparison to conventional pillows, buckwheat pillows really are. It took me the best part of 2 pages to answer 4 questions, and most of it was on that one question.

I’m not going to try to answer it here again. If you want to know why you should buy a buckwheat pillow rather than a conventional pillow, just click here.

BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS FOR PETS

Ingredients for a pet bed?
Ingredients for a pet bed?

Buckwheat pillows are on my mind a lot. In that twilight zone where I’m not quite still asleep, but not quite fully awake, I often have rather interesting ideas. While in that stage this morning, I thought “What about buckwheat pillows for pets?”.

Now, I like pets, but I’m not into pets on a grand scale, so this whole idea is a bit out of the box (er - I mean pillow) for me, so I’m just throwing it out there for your consideration.
So I’m asking for help from those of you who are really into knowing what pets like and what’s good for them. Maybe the buckwheat pillow would be ideal for some pets, and for others, not so much.
Initially, my thoughts turned to cats and dogs. I can see an English Bulldog reposing on a king size buckwheat bed pillow, or a Pekingese snuggled into the curve of a buckwheat neck pillow on top of a malleable buckwheat travel pillow. Maybe a few of those glue on Velcro swatches would be helpful to keep them in their relative positions.
I think maybe, for one of those little green geckos, like on those TV insurance commercials, I’d have to come up with a miniature version. I could really get attached to one of those geckos, but it would definitely have to have the Australian accent. I’d want a green one, too (do they come in different colors?).
Just out of curiosity, I’m going to go google “buckwheat pillows for pets”. Hold on a minute.
Wow! Am I glad I did that before I continued with this post. I’m way behind the curve. Buckwheat pet pillows are all over the web, although they all seem to be for dogs or cats. What about my favorite gecko, or hedge hogs, or pythons? Unfortunately, I really believe the goldfish and a few other pets are out of luck on this one.
One interesting thing I noticed is that the pet buckwheat pillows are priced about 2 to 3 times higher than an equivalent people buckwheat pillow. That is interesting.
I’d still like to hear from you pet owners on this subject.

BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS-You Just Have To Love Them

LOVE THOSE BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS
LOVE THOSE BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS

How can you experience a buckwheat pillow and not fall in love with it? Well, it ain’t easy.

I got interested in buckwheat pillows out of curiosity. I had heard about them somewhere, but could never really find out anything about them. Then I got my first computer. One of the first things I researched on my new (used) computer was buckwheat pillows
.
I don’t remember what year that would have been, but I still couldn’t find out much, but I did find a source of buckwheat hulls. I ordered a 40 pound bag of buckwheat hulls, and I knew a lady who was handy with a sewing machine, and I made a deal with her. I gave her half of the hulls, and she made me three buckwheat pillows. Thus was born my love affair of the buckwheat pillow.
I am still using two of those buckwheat pillows (my wife gave one of them to our granddaughter) that I had made for me all those years ago, and I take one with me any time I will be sleeping away from home overnight.
When I got interested in becoming a web merchant, I was advised to promote something on the web which I loved and was passionate about. It didn’t take me long to decide that I would be selling buckwheat pillows.
I am proud to promote and sell something that provides so much improvement in comfort and quality of sleep, which involves about 30% of our lives, but which actually provides a substantial enhancement of the quality of the other 70% as well. That’s because the quality of your sleep has such an effect on how you feel and perform the next day.
I feel I am blessed to have discovered the benefits of buckwheat pillows, and to have found a way to share this blessing with anyone willing to partake of it. I encourage all of you to share your experiences of enjoyment of your buckwheat pillows here on this blog. Many sweet dreams.

ORGANIC BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS

ORGANIC BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS

ORGANIC BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS

ORGANIC BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS VS CERTIFIED BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS.

Most people now understand the significance of organic, but then there is certified organic. Buckwheat pillows are affected a little differently than most other items in regard to these two similar but different labels.

Organic means that no chemical fertilizers or fungicides, or pesticides, or any other unnatural chemicals for whatever purposes may be used in the propagation of the crop .

Certified organic means the same thing except that a strict regimen set by the government must be followed and verified, actually starting some years before said crop is even planted, and regulations even apply to a certain area surrounding the actual crop land. As you can imagine, this process is very costly, but in most cases, especially those involving food crops, is a necessary and useful tool to discourage fraudulent organic claims. Unfortunately, this results in much higher prices for the product.

Buckwheat, however, is one of several crops that really don’t benefit from this certified organic regimen, because it really doesn’t need the expensive chemical fertilizers, fungicides, and pesticides, that most crops benefit from. If a farmer doesn’t derive a benefit from using chemicals to get a good crop, he’s not going to, because these chemicals are very expensive.

I’m not saying that there couldn’t possibly be some slight difference occasionally between some buckwheat hulls labeled “Organic”, and some labeled “Certified Organic”, but we’re not talking about a food crop here. The difference in price would be huge, and only because of the great expense of involving the government verification so they could legally add “Certified” to their label. If we apply some common sense, it just doesn’t seem to me that any slight perceptible difference only discernible in a laboratory test, is worth the hugh difference in the cost of the organic buckwheat pillow, vs the certified organic buckwheat pillow.

To paraphrase a popular TV channel slogan, “I report, you decide”. Whichever you choose, an ”organic” or “certified organic” buckwheat pillow, you can rest easy knowing you’re going to have the best sleep you can get.

A Buckwheat Pillow - A Wise College Investment

A BUCKWHEAT PILLOW FOR COLLEGE

A BUCKWHEAT PILLOW FOR COLLEGE

Are you, or someone you know, college bound? College can be a lot of fun and a lot of stress at the same time. One thing that can contribute to stress is a lack of quality sleep.

First of all, there’s always a lack of time at college, so you really need to take the best possible advantage of your precious sleep time. That’s where a quality buckwheat pillow can be a life saver.

No other pillow can get you off to that all important REM (rapid eye movement) sleep so quickly, and just as importantly, keep you there until you’ve gotten a full night’s worth of quality, rejuvenating sleep. That’s the only way you’ll be ready for that first morning class blue book, or that boring professor that tries so hard to put you back to sleep.

If you’re the one heading to college, maybe you should drop some broad hints to your parents expounding on all the advantages of having a buckwheat pillow to help you get the best possible grades for their well spent tuition dollars. Best of success in your new venture.

BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS - A Pillow Revolution

BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS-REVOLUTIONARY

BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS-REVOLUTIONARY

Buckwheat Pillows, buckwheat hull pillows, sobakawa pillows, makura pillows, buckwheat bed pillows, buckwheat travel pillows, buckwheat neck pillows, buckwheat king size bed pillows, buckwheat queen size bed pillows, buckwheat twin size bed pillows, buckwheat full size bed pillows, buckwheat standard size bed pillows, buckwheat yoga pillows, buckwheat meditation pillows - all testify to the growing popularity of this new - ancient pillow phenomenome.

While they originated 2 - 3000 years ago in Asia, they have become discovered in N America, first in Canada, and now in the US. The quality organic, hypoallergenic, triple vacuumed, buckwheat pillows with a concealed nylon zipper have virtually no competition as far as performance and versatility are concerned. Buckwheat pillows are superior to all other varieties of pillows in all respects, and I believe it’s just a matter of time until they virtually replace the other more familiar type pillows.

I think that the lack of knowledge of the buckwheat pillow’s existence is the only thing that temporarily prevents them from having already replaced the outdated styles of pillows. With the advent of social media that lack of knowledge will likely fade rapidly into oblivion.

So join the revolution and enjoy the benefits of a modern buckwheat pillow.

The Sweet Smell of Sleep

For many people, certain smells conjure up profound feelings and memories. The smell of oranges might remind a transplanted Floridian of home, just as the smell of lilacs might call to mind a spring vacation to Michigan’s Mackinac Island. But scents are often associated with more than just a place – they also evoke a state of mind. This is the philosophy behind aromatherapy sachets and pillows

Scents such as lavendar and chamomile have been shown to reduce stress and improve relaxation. As such, they make the perfect supplements for a buckwheat pillow. After a night spent with these aromatic sleep aids, many people report a deeply satisfying and refreshing experience.

NATURAL SOUND SLEEP

NATURAL SLEEP

NATURAL SLEEP

It’s a fact of life today that a lot of us have trouble falling asleep. Maybe worse, it may be that we have trouble staying asleep.

Too many people turn to a pill to help them sleep. All drugs have side effects, even sleeping pills. Their effectiveness usually wears off after a while, resulting in your needing more and more of them to provide the desired effect. By that time you are dependent on them. It’s a vicious cycle.

I realize sometimes we have no choice other than turning to pills, but sometimes people have choices, and they make the wrong one. When you have a choice, go natural. Buckwheat pillows have provided natural sleeping relief for many people, some of whom had already tried the sleeping pill route.

I know it seems rather simplistic that a simple buckwheat pillow could be the answer to your sleeping problems, but don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. Even if you found that it didn’t completely solve your sleeping problem, you still end up with the most comfortable, rejuvenating sleep you’ve ever experienced, even if you had to use a sleeping pill to get you there.
